About Maura

I’ve always believed the best stories happen around the table.

With over 15 years in hospitality and nearly a decade in Napa Valley wine country, I’ve built my career helping restaurants, wineries, and small businesses shine. I love helping chefs, hospitality brands, and destinations tell their stories in a way that makes people want to pull up a chair.

Living with Celiac Disease for 13+ years changed the way I travel and the way I experience hospitality. I know firsthand that we do not just choose restaurants, we choose destinations.

We decide where the group stays, where dinner is booked, and which trips feel safe enough to take.

Most restaurant menus and destination websites still do not offer the guides or clarity people need. My goal is to change that.

I created Gluten Free Concierge to help travelers find places they can trust and help destinations become known for inclusive hospitality, trusted dining, and experiences worth booking.

Fun facts about Maura:

  1. I will always find the restaurants with a dedicated gluten-free fryer. Did someone say truffle fries and Champagne?

  2. My favorite place to travel back to is Botswana, Africa. Safari and the people there hold a special place in her heart.

  3. I studied food science in school, then jumped right into the wine industry in Napa Valley. You could say starting this feels full circle for her.

  4. When I was 25, I started my social media marketing company in Napa Valley, focused on wineries in Northern California.

  5. She once traveled around Northern Europe by following the Michelin Guide.
